The Calas chair is crafted from powder-coated steel combined with finely upholstered elements.
The metalwork features ribbed steel, hand-formed into gently tapered legs that lend the chair an impression of lightness. Subtle spherical details at their ends accentuate its refined character,
evoking the elegance of Mediterranean architectural classics.
The upholstered seat and backrest are made entirely by hand and dressed in high-quality furnishing fabrics. For our designs, we most often choose textiles with a distinctive, tactile weave or premium velvets in deep yet subdued tones.

The hoker is crafted from solid oak, known for its high durability, combined with upholstered elements.
The carpentry element – a stable, carefully refined chair structure with a wave-shaped backrest – is treated with high-quality oil, giving a matte yet silky finish and highlighting the unique wood grain. The wood can be stained upon request in one of the shades offered by Calva Studio.
The upholstered element is a handcrafted seat, covered in high-quality fabric. For our designs, we usually choose distinctive, thick weaves or premium velvets in deep yet muted tones. Upon customer request, the upholstery fabric can also be changed to another option from our studio’s selection.
